Professional Interests
Sustainability: Sustainable organizations acknowledge their long-term needs and responsibilities beyond short-term profits.
By taking a whole-system perspective and addressing all relevant factors -- tangibles such as carbon emissions and succession
plans as well as intangibles such as belief systems and mental models -- organizations can effectively implement sustainable
practices throughout the enterprise.
Conscious capitalism: Conscious capitalism looks for profitable business solutions to social and environmental issues,
creating a synergistic "win-win-win" for the organization, for the environment and for society.
Cross-sector partnerships: At the intersection of business and society, cross-sector partnerships are transforming the
way the world approaches innovation and solves intractable problems. Due to the multi-dimensionality of the work and the complex
challenges of communication, culture, measurement and scalability, a comprehensive approach is needed to optimize collaborative
capacity and effect lasting change.
Holacracy: Holacracy is a powerful idea for delivering organizational agility in today's fast-paced world of constant
change. This complete system of organizational governance and steering integrates the best elements from previous approaches
and draws upon a wide range of models, principles and practices to create something entirely new.
